'DIS!' IS WHAT'S UP
Check out the current news for the hit musical-comedy 'Disenchanted!': (Updated May 22, 2020)
During these uncertain times in which theater companies may not be able to perform in a live theater venue due to the coronavirus, nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of the 'Disenchanted!' casts, crews, production teams, audiences, and communities around the world.
Each community has been uniquely impacted and each producer, artistic director, theater company board, school administrator, or instructor with decision-making authority must determine whether the show should proceed as scheduled or if it should be postponed to a later date. Assessing the situation with your colleagues, production team, board, and all other stakeholders in your production will allow companies to make the best and safest decision possible.
Given the many factors that need to be considered, we here at 'Disenchanted!' Central are not in a position to make that decision for our scheduled theater companies/customers. Groups are encouraged to seek out and follow the local laws and executive orders that pertain to their specific areas when considering whether to perform 'Disenchanted!' in a theater venue or not.
What we can do is respond to our companies' and customers needs as best we can. We're here to answer questions and, where necessary, aid in the process of rescheduling performance dates of existing licenses affected by the coronavirus. While there may be conflicts or restrictions when rescheduling group's performances, we will do what we can to minimize the impact on your organization and your production.
Any/all performance changes must first be approved by us as the Licensor of your production at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you booked your license via Broadway Licensing, you must contact them to reschedule your production.
Thank you for your patience during the process of rescheduling. We're here to help!
